Bee Bots – Robotics for Young Learners

1 day hands-on workshop where participants:

  • Play and explore Bee Bots
  • Make resources for future learning experiences that integrate Bee Bots with their curriculum
  • Take back to school collective ideas and strategies for implementing Bee Bots as well as their very own Bee Bot (1 per participant) valued at rrp $88

What are Bee Bots?

Bee Bots are an exciting new programmable floor robot. The Bee-Bot’s simple and child friendly layout is a perfect starting point for teaching control, directional language and programming to young children. This open ended resource allows teachers to use the Bee Bots as a tool to enhance learning of curriculum content and processes such as literacy (including story telling, recount), Science (including experiments, problem solving) and Numeracy (including sequencing, counting, direction, estimation)
