Back to Basics IWB Course
If you have just got your Promethean ACTIVboard or you need a refresher session then this course is for you. We will start at the beginning and work step by step through the software. Then you will have time to make a flipchart for your class. This course is for primary and secondary teachers.
Interactive Whiteboard Hub 2009 - Information sessions
For the last 2 years the Australian National Schools Network has been facilitating a new professional learning program for teachers focusing on the use of interactive whiteboards in the classroom. Over 200 teachers have taken part in the program since 2006 and participants gain a wealth of technical knowledge as well as taking part in the pedagogical discussions around the question “How do interactive whiteboards improve teacher pedagogy and student learning outcomes?”During August and September we would like to give you and your school the opportunity to attend an information session to learn more about the Interactive Whiteboard program being offered again in 2009.

IWB Hub launching in Queensland in 2008
The Australian National Schools Network is launching the interactive white board hub in QLD for 2008. The location for the QLD Hub will be Brisbane (venue will be dependent on registering schools).

Join the Interactive Whiteboard Hub
During 2006 and 2007, a number of schools from around WA, NSW, NT and Victoria have been working together with the ANSN, The Learning Federation and Commander Systems, to explore whether Interactive Whiteboards could improve teacher pedagogy and student learning outcomes within the classroom.
Report from Victorian Interactive Whiteboard project
The Victorian Interactive whiteboard project began this term with 55 teachers from 16 different schools participating. Teachers came from as far as Harrietville and Maffra to contribute to two days of professional development which included technical training as well as action planning for the use of interactive whiteboards in the classroom.
